Recreational Girls Softball Registration
Registration for Rec Softball is available online and is now open. Registration is as follows:
Farm $100 per child.
Rookie: $125 per child
Minors/Majors: $135 per child.
The Season will start once Fields are open, usually early April.
We once again will be holding additional Raffles for the season. More info to follow.
Additionally, Tryouts for the Lasers Travel teams are currently available. We are in need of a few players across the 10U, 12U and 14U Teams. If your daughter is interested in trying out for one of the teams please contact us @ longvalleysoftball@gmail.com.
LVGSA is affiliated with the USA Softball League and therefore must establish our divisions along the prescribed ages as directed by their charter. A player's eligibility for a League Division (Farm, Rookie, Minors and Majors) will be determined by the attained age of the player as of December 31st preceding the upcoming season. For example, to be eligible for Majors (14u) in the 2021 season a player shall be no younger than 11 nor older than 14 as of 12/31/20. These age brackets are established for equity across the nation. We understand that occasionally a "players age" may put them ahead or behind their classmates. The board reserves the right to move a player down or up a division for safety reasons only.The Division age brackets are:
- Farm (6u) - no younger than 5 nor older than 6 by Dec 31st preceding upcoming season.
- Rookies (8u) - no younger than 7 nor older than 8 by Dec 31st preceding upcoming season. May play inter-league games with neighboring towns.
- Minors (10u) - no younger than 9 nor older than 10 by Dec 31st preceding upcoming season. May play inter-league games with neighboring towns.
- Majors(14u) - no younger than 11 nor older than 14 by Dec 31st preceding upcoming season. May play inter-league games with neighboring towns.
