Recreational Girls Softball Registration

Registration for Long Valley Rec Softball is now open. Please see age brackets listed below to ensure you register for the correct level.

Registration is as follows:

  • Farm (6u) 6 & Under: $75 per child
  • Rookies (8u) 8 & Under: $115 per child
  • Minors (10u) 10 & Under/Majors (14u) 14 & under: $135 per child
  • Rec Fee for Travel Players: $50

The season will start once fields are open, usually early April.

LVGSA is affiliated with the USA Softball League and therefore must establish our divisions along the prescribed ages as directed by their charter. A player's eligibility for a League Division (Farm, Rookie, Minors and Majors) will be determined by the attained age of the player as of August 31 preceding the upcoming season. These age brackets are established for equity across the nation. We understand that occasionally a "players age" may put them ahead or behind their classmates. The board reserves the right to move a player down or up a division for safety reasons only. The Division age brackets are:

  • Farm (6u)- no older than 6 by Sept 1, 2025. Born between 9/1/2018 and 8/31/2020.
  • Rookies (8u)- no older than 8 by Sept 1, 2025. Born between 9/1/2016 and 8/31/2018.
  • Minors (10u)- no older than 10 by Sept 1, 2025. Born between 9/1/2014 and 8/31/2016.
  • Majors(14u)-no older than 14 by Sept 1, 2025. Born between 9/1/2010 and 8/31/2014.
